Parking Policies

Our Parking Policies are in place for the safety of our guests and the courtesy expressed to the residents and Borough of Jamesburg.

  • All guests are requested to utilize our off-street parking accommodations located at Forsgate Commons, 241 Forsgate Drive.
  • The Tearoom will offer complimentary door-to-door transportation of the vehicle driver from the designated parking area to the front entrance of the Tearoom.

Reservation Policies

We offer our full service Afternoon Tea on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Seatings are by Reservation Only which ensures your time with us is our primary focus. Generally, two seatings are available most weekends at 12 noon and 3pm. With the supervision of an adult, well behaved children 5 and older are welcome in our dining rooms for Afternoon Tea. We are unable to accommodate toddlers and infants under 5 years of age.

  • Reservations are required 48 hours in advance of the scheduled Afternoon Seating (e.g. Thursday for Saturday seating; Friday for Sunday seating)
  • A credit card number will be necessary to hold all reservations
  • A credit card number will be necessary for all Special Events (e.g. Mother’s Day)
  • A 48 hour notice of cancellation is required. Cancellations or “no shows” will be charged.
  • There will be a $15 absentee charge per guest for guests that do not honor their party's reservation the day of Tea Service. 
  • Emergencies do occur, and those situations will be addressed individually.

Private Function Policies

Private Parties are our specialty. We can customize your tea service options to make your party just perfect for you and your guests.

  • Private Functions are a minimum of 10 guests to a maximum of 20 guests; Personalized service contract to insure all your tea service needs are met as we host your special event.
  • Private Functions are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday evening events can be reserved after 5pm.
  • Facility Fee for the Private Functions of 10 or more; $125 for the first 2-hours and $75 for each additional hour.
  • 50% deposit for Afternoon Tea service and the full facility fees are required at the time of signing the Personalised Service Contract of your special event
  •  Final guest counts are required 2 weeks in advance of the event.
  • There will be a $15 absentee charge per guest for guests that do not honor their party's reservation the day of Tea Service.
  • Tea Service charges are non-refundable for guests that did not honor their reservation.
  • Gratuity fee of 20% is added to all private functions.
  • The facility fee is not refundable if the event is cancelled 30 days or less prior to your reservation.
  • Final payment of contract balances is due on the day of the event
  • Emergencies do occur, and those situations will be addressed individually.
